- Mess Timings
Breakfast: 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM
Lunch: 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM
Hi Tea: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Dinner: 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Mess Payment
The rate of comprehensive meals per month per student shall be Rs. 4000 (Rupees Four Thousand only). The fixed rate is inclusive of all charges/taxes levied by central/ state government. All students and residents are required to deposit the mess fees into the college account on or before the 10th of every month. A late fine of ₹100 per day will be charged after the due date.
- Mess Fee Refund
Residents in the hostels who will be expecting to remain away from the hostel for more than 7 days will have to intimate the hostel office/Mess Incharge at least two (02) working days prior to their leaving the hostel. Such application will then be forwarded to the mess food contractor after having a record of the same in Hostel Office. Hostel office will make sure that the application is reached to the contractor one day before the student leaving the hostel. In such cases, 65% refund on the mess food bill for that period of absence will be awarded to the resident and pro rata deduction of the same will be made from the bill of the contractor. If hostel is closed due to official notification/vacations for more than 7 days 65% refund on the mess food bill for that period of absence will be awarded to the resident and pro rata deduction of the same will be made from the bill of the contractor.
- List of Students and Faculty
A list of vegetarian and non-vegetarian students and faculty members must be maintained to ensure appropriate meal planning.
- Use of Crockery and Cutlery
Crockery and cutlery are not to be taken outside the mess premises under any circumstances.
- Food Wastage Fine
Wasting food is strictly prohibited. A fine of ₹500 will be imposed on any student or resident found wasting food.
- Portion Control
Portion control will be strictly imposed on items such as Paneer, Chicken, Egg, Sweet Dish, Dahi Vada, Kheer, Manchurian, and similar dishes. Anyone requiring extra servings of these items will have to pay extra.
- Entry Protocol
All individuals must sign the register before entering the mess area for their meals.
- Cleanliness and Discipline
Please maintain cleanliness and silence inside the mess area at all times.
